Shipping Information
Christmas Deadline
We recommend placing orders for Christmas on or before December 8th, 2021 to ensure they arrive before Christmas Day. Please note that with delays related to large order volumes and COVID-19 there have been massive delays with all couriers, and shipping may take longer than usual.
How long will it take for my Curbside Pickup to be ready?
Curbside Pickup orders are usually ready for pickup within 24-48 hours. You will receive an email when your order is confirmed, as well as a second email when it is ready to be picked up.
How does Free Shipping work?
As of August 3, 2021, we've made some changes to our shipping!
USA and Canada - Free Shipping Over $200
UK and most of Europe - Free Shipping Over $500
Asia and other countries - $19.99 Flat Rate Shipping on orders over $500
Our Free Shipping does not qualify to "Heavy Items" such as large bags of substrate. "Heavy" items are listed in "Special Deliveries". Contact us for more information on this.
How does Local Delivery work?
We are currently accepting local deliveries within 40 KM of the store - this includes our neighbouring cities like Aiea, Miwalu, Ewa Beach and Kaneohe! Our rates are calculated based on your distance from the store. Simply select Local Delivery at checkout and your order will be delivered same-day if placed before 3 PM, or next-day if placed after 3 PM.
We may request an additional charge on extra-large specialty items, like cat scratchers and large fish tanks.
I placed an order but never received a confirmation email. What should I do?
If you have not received a confirmation email for an order you placed, please double check your junk email. If it is not in your junk email please contact us within 24 hours!
I received an email saying my order was delivered but I haven’t received it yet. What should I do?
Please contact us here within 24 hours of receiving your delivery email so we can look into it for you.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes! As soon as your order has been processed you will receive an email with your tracking information. If you've selected Local Pickup, you will receive either an SMS message or an email when your order is delivered - remember to check your junk mail.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Estimating delivery time can be tricky, but on average orders take around 1-3 business days within USA and Canada, but usually takes about 3-7 business days for other countries. For Asia and other distant countries it can take as long as 5-13 business days. Once your order is received, we package it up and process it as quickly as we can to ensure you get it as quickly as possible.

Do you ship to Africa?
Not at this time.
Who will be delivering my order?
We ship through USPS and fedEX. We also offer Local Delivery through a few other delivery agencies.
Do you ship frozen items or live feeder insects?
Yes, within USA!
